Date & Coconut Flapjack

This Recipe is the classic flapjack with at little fruity twist. This recipe is a quick and simple recipe that any skill level can do! The Equipment that you will need is an oven, 20cm cake tin, baking paper or grease. The Date & Coconut Flapjack is a great little recipe when you have some spare time and you feel like a quick little snack!

Ingredients

  • 150 g Unsalted Butter
  • 180 g Honey
  • 110 g Dates chopped
  • 290 g Rolled Oats
  • 70 g Coconut other Desiccated

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 4 or 180°.
  2. Line a 20cm cake tin with baking paper or grease the tin.
  3. In a pan melt the butter and honey.
  4. Then add the dates, oats and coconut and fold together.
  5. Place the mix in the tin and bake for 15 mins or until cooked through
