Sophies Soho set to launch lunchtime kiosk

On Wednesday 4 April, the new Sophie’s Steakhouse in Soho will be opening a kiosk next door on Great Windmill Street.

The team will cater to the hungry Soho lunch trade serving Pit Roast Steak Sandwiches – 5 hour pit roasted prime rib of beef from Philip Warren butchers, served with fresh garden leaves and Sophie’s signature horseradish and charcoal crème on Arapina sourdough baguette.

To celebrate, Sophie’s will be giving out 100 free steak sandwiches each day next Weds 4, Thurs 5 and Fri 6 April, to the first hungry customers at the kiosk.

This brand was founded in 2002 by Rupert Power & Sophie Bathgate and the first site, Sophie’s Chelsea serves British steak, dry-aged and butchered in house, teamed with its famous 10oz martinis.

The second site, Sophie’s Steakhouse in Covent Garden, which opened in 2008, has since closed.
