Le Pont de la Tour to launch French brunch in April

This April, Tower Bridge institution Le Pont de la Tour and recently appointed Head Chef Julien Imbert will unveil a new brunch menu of authentic French dishes.

Imbert’s new menu with his modern take on classic brunch dishes will reflect his French roots and accompany the iconic views of the Thames from their riverside terrace. Dishes will include; Black Truffled Scrambled Eggs with fresh truffles on freshly baked brioche topped with comté and chives; French favorite Croque Madame with Mornay Sauce, ham cured in-house, Emmental cheese with a sunny side up fried egg.

For something sweet, Pain Perdu will be reminiscent of a traditional recipe Julien’s grandmother Yvette would make for him each day after school. Instead of day old baguette, Julien will dip slices of fluffy brioche into milk and egg before frying in butter and topping with homemade caramel ice cream.

Leading the drinks menu will be prosecco, which can be enjoyed free flowing for two hours for just £17 whilst Bloody Marys, Mimosas and a whole host of other breakfast cocktails, smoothies and juices will also be freshly made throughout the day.

Head Chef Julien Imbert said, “These classic indulgent brunch dishes were such a staple of my childhood in Toulouse and something that I have missed since moving to London, so I’m delighted to finally be able to share them at Le Pont de la Tour.”

The weekend brunch menu will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-5pm alongside the a la carte menu. Served in the restaurant, bar & grill and on the terrace at Le Pont de la Tour, guests will be able to enjoy two courses for £20 or three for £25.
