Boxpark Croydon set for launch with two-day music festival

Boxpark Croydon is to celebrates its launch with a two-day music festival in partnership with Eskimo Dance and NME Magazine on the 29 and 30 October.

Just like the original Boxpark in Shoreditch, Boxpark Croydon has been constructed from shipping containers, but this time it’s larger with 80 units, 35 of which are food outlets, and a covered courtyard for year-round events.

With an events space of around 20,000 sq ft, there’s capacity for audiences of 2,000 plus.

The 35 food outlets include: Bao Bao – Taiwanese street food, Carioca – authentic Brazilian food, Department of Coffee and Social Affairs – speciality coffee company, Kothu Kothu – Sri Lankan street food, Coqfighter pop-up – fried chicken, Dum Dums – doughnuts, and Feed Me Primal – healthy grain-free and gluten-free.
