Freemans Event Partners has renewed its long-standing partnership with Silverstone, signing a new multi-year contract with the iconic motorsport venue.

As part of the agreement, the Gloucester-based event caterer—celebrating over 40 years of collaboration with Silverstone—will continue as the exclusive provider of public food and beverage services at the circuit.

Freemans will continue to provide catering services for Silverstone’s flagship events, including the Tissot British Grand Prix MotoGP, the Silverstone Festival, and the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.

This year, the Formula 1 British Grand Prix attracted 500,000 fans to Silverstone, where Freemans served up more than 300 food and drink options and deployed over 300,000 seasonal staff to keep visitors fed and refreshed.

Matt Luscombe, chief executive officer at Freemans Event Partners, said: “Our collaboration over the decades has consistently pushed boundaries in terms of quality and innovation, and this renewed agreement means we can continue to support the venue’s continued evolution as a world-class, multi-use destination.”

Stuart Pringle, chief executive officer at Silverstone, said: “Strengthening our partnership with Freemans Event Partners has been key to delivering an exceptional fan experience and enhancing the circuit’s broader commercial offering.”

Founded in 1975 with a single fish and chips outlet at Silverstone, Freemans is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Since its humble beginnings, the company has grown into a leading event caterer, working with some of the UK’s most iconic sporting venues and events, including Lord’s Cricket Ground and Wembley Stadium.

Today, it serves over 25 million people each year across more than 650 event days.

The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
