American surf shack-style restaurant chain to launch in April

Cardiff PR agency, Degu Media has today announced that a brand new concept restaurant chain will be opening in the UK, with a planned April launch.

Seafood Shack is a themed restaurant based on the American surf shacks seen in Florida and California and is looking at a number of sites in the UK including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Manchester and Sheffield.

The restaurant will be serving fresh seafood dishes in an open theatre kitchen, with over 100 wines to choose from, cocktails, craft beer and more. Diners will be able to choose from a vast selection of fish, choose how they would like it cooked and then select one of the homemade sauces.

Other dishes will include Jumbo Crab Claws, Scallops, Prawns, Clams, Mussels, Langoustines and fishcakes. Beyond seafood, there will also be a selection of in-house made burgers, plus a gigantic 10oz Tomahawk Steak.

As a PR agency, we are delighted to be handling the launch events and details of the restaurant will be announced as soon as the first venue location is confirmed. We will be visiting quite a few cities this week, looking at various prime locations.’
