Caffe Nero appoints former Wagamama COO as new MD

Caffe Nero has appointed a new managing director, Glyn House, the former Wagamama chief operations director.

House was with Wagamama for over 10 years and, prior to that, was with Sainsbury’s for 21 years.

The coffee chain’s current managing director, Neil Riding is set to retire from the position in November. He joined the company in 2011, and has also been managing director for TGI Friday and Beefeater restaurants.

Caffe Nero currently operates 570 sites, with plans in place to grow to 750 outlets across the UK.
