The Chopstix Group (CG) has added to its premium, quick service, pan Asian restaurant brand Yangtze with the official opening of a new outlet in the popular Bluewater Shopping Centre.

The Dartford restaurant represents the first new store opening by CG, who purchased the brand in late 2017. Since then, the owners have further invested in Yangtze and a new store design, interiors scheme, state of the art digital technology and updated branding have been unveiled in the new Bluewater outlet.

Offering a wide-ranging menu of freshly cooked, Asian themed meals, Yangtze now operates ten restaurants across the UK and Ireland, all of which are located within shopping centres including Birmingham’s Merryhill Centre and the Meadowhall Centre in Sheffield.

Jon Lake, managing director of the Chopstix Group, noted, “With its popularity reflected in consistently high footfall, Bluewater provides the ideal platform from which introduce Yangtze to a wider audience.

‘Yangtze is undeniably a premium brand which offers an authentic, flavourful, pan Asian inspired menu with broad consumer appeal and we firmly believe there is potential for further growth.”

As well as Yangtze, the Chopstix Group also owns and operates the 80-strong Chopstix Noodle Bar chain and have tripled its outlet count in just two years.
