Fiume & Italicus kick off first in series of collaborative events

Chef's Office, Create, Inspire, Connect

On Wednesday 21 March, Battersea Power Station’s new Italian restaurant, Fiume, will be holding an exclusive cocktail masterclass in collaboration with Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto; a liqueur launched by the UK’s leading expert in Italian spirits, Guiseppe Gallo as part of his quest to revive the forgotten Rosolio category.

The event will be hosted by Luca Missaglia and Andrea Moccoroni of Italicus, as they take guests through the ‘Art of an Aperitivo’. Attendees will be invited to enjoy a selection of the finest negronis and spritzers, all made using Italicus, before trying their hand at mixing their own.

No Italian cocktail event would be complete without cicchetti, and the Fiume kitchen will be providing a delicious selection of bites to sustain guests throughout the evening.

Fiume is the third London restaurant from renowned chef Francesco Mazzei, and is situated right on the bank of the Thames with stunning views over the river and a large piazza-style terrace.

Fiume offers traditional dishes from southern Italy, which are the perfect accompaniment to cocktails made using the bergamot infused Italicus, a fruit native to Francesco’s home region of Calabria.

The Italicus cocktail masterclass will mark the first in a series of collaborative events between Fiume and Italicus, all celebrating southern Italy and the joys of aperitivo.
