Hammerson clinches major award

Owner, manager and developer of retail destinations, Hammerson has been awarded the Property Managers Association (PMA) Award for Landlord and Service Provider of the Year 2016.

Hammerson’s portfolio includes investments in 21 prime shopping centres in the UK and France, 19 convenient retail parks in the UK and 15 premium outlets across Europe.

PMA was established to represent the interests of retail organisations and the award for Landlord and Service Provider is exclusively voted on by its members, including many of the country’s leading retailers.

The Award for Landlord and Service Provider of the year recognises a landlord that has delivered excellence with a consistent, collaborative and positive approach to landlord and retailer relationships.

Collecting the award, Iain Mitchell, UK Commercial Director at Hammerson, said, “We are delighted to have won the Landlord and Service Provider of the Year Award, a great achievement for Hammerson.
