Kudos Delivered placed on preferred caterer list at Bakers Hall

Office and events caterer, Kudos Delivered has announced that it has earned a place on the preferred caterer list at Bakers Hall, the second oldest livery company in the City of London.

Situated between the Monument and the Tower of London, Bakers Hall is home of the Worshipful Company of Bakers, whose origins trace back over 800 years. The Company continues to be closely involved with the baking trade, and a high proportion of its 360 members are Allied Traders and Master Bakers, including The Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry, who was made a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Bakers in 2014.

Kudos Delivered has earned a reputation as one of the capital’s leading venue caterers over the last 20 years and offers a flexible price solution for all venues with limited or no kitchen facilities.

Eva Garrett, General Manager for Kudos Delivered, said, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with one of London’s oldest livery companies in Bakers Hall as one of their preferred caterers, as they truly are experts in the trade.

“We had a fantastic tasting with the Beadle and acting Clerk from Bakers Hall recently, at which we presented them with our lunch selection, afternoon tea and hot buffet foods; which included a selection of artisan breads and hot pies made with locally sourced ingredients.

‘We didn’t stop there however, we knew we had to bring out the big guns when it came to baking as the one and only Mary Berry was part of the company! So we created a mouth-watering array of homemade cakes and bakes which the team at Bakers Hall really enjoyed.”

The present Bakers Hall dates back to 1964, after the previous Hall was destroyed during WW2. The Worshipful Company of Bakers, who have owned the Bakers Hall site for over 500 years, play an active role in the continuing development of the baking industry and allied trades nationally and internationally through training, scholarships and as an independent voice in food manufacture and retailing.
