Splendid Hospitality Group has revealed plans to open a new restaurant under its Absurd Bird brand in Newcastle.

The American-styled chicken concept, Absurd Bird, has applied to Newcastle City Council for a premises license at intu Eldon Square’s dining zone.

The restaurant menu would feature the Absurd Bird favorites including fried chicken burger, Buffalo or BBQ wings and Absurd Mac and cheese.

Splendid Hospitality Group opened the first Absurd Bird in London three years ago and has now has sites in Soho, Spitalfields, Bath and Exeter.
