The team behind London’s world famous celebrity haunt ,The Ivy, is set to open its first site in Scotland in the Autumn.
The new restaurant called The Ivy on The Square will be located at the St Andrew Square in Edinburgh.
The Ivy Collection has signed a 25-year lease with Standard Life Investments Pooled Property Pension Fund for a 5,500 sq ft corner unit on the south side of the Square.
The Ivy on the Square will be open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will cater for up to 130 customers. The restaurant will feature a mezzanine terrace and have a bar.
Fund Manager of the Standard Life Investments Pooled Property Pension Fund, David Stewart said, “We knew the development would have appeal and carefully targeted a number of top class names in order to create a new leisure hub in the heart of the city.’
He added, “It’s a great boost to Edinburgh that The Ivy Collection has committed to St Andrew Square for its first launch in Scotland.’
