Amazon Fresh to deliver food to further 42 postcodes

Amazon Fresh is to expand its online food delivery service with a further 42 postcodes across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

This expansion takes the service to a total of 302 postcodes across London and the South East.

Ajay Kavan, vice-president of AmazonFresh told The Times, “We recognised from day one that the bar in UK grocery is high but we have always believed that the key to long-term success in Fresh is offering a vast selection at low prices with an excellent customer experience.

“We said we would take our time and be methodical but a year since we launched we are really pleased with the take-up and the response.”

Amazon Fresh’s range of products has grown too from 130,000 products at launch to over 180,000 today.
