BrewDog launches crowdfund for world’s first craft beer hotel & sour brewer

Scottish brewery firm and bar operator, BrewDog is planning to launch The DogHouse in Columbus, USA – the world’s first craft beer hotel and sour brewery.

The innovative company has already been planning to build a BrewDog hotel near its Ellon brewery in Aberdeenshire but, in the meantime, it has partnered with Indiegogo crowdfunding site to raise funds for the US 50-bed hotel.

BrewDog aims to raise the $75k through the campaign, which will go towards the $6m required to build the hotel and brewery.

The firm has already kicked off the design process for The DogHouse Columbus and it will feature:

– Craft beer minibars curated by James and Martin
– Punk IPA on tap in your room
– Beer Spa treatments with bespoke hop oils
– Restaurant majoring in beer and food pairings
– Craft beer themed breakfasts, lunches and dinners
– En-suite shower beer fridges

Contributors to the campaign can rack up rewards from tours, tastings and t-shirts to free stays in the hotel, beery spa treatments and the chance to design their very own sour beer. They can even take over the entire hotel and all fifty rooms for a night with breakfast and lunch included.
