Casual Dining Group CEO to move on to largest UK holiday resort firm

The CEO of Casual Dining Group (CDG), Steve Richards will be leaving the company at the end of May 2019 to become CEO of holiday resort company, Parkdean Holidays.

Richards joined CDG in 2014 and he oversaw the group’s acquisitions of La Tasca and Las Iguanas. The company currently operates around 290 restaurants.

Rooney Anand, chairman, said, “On behalf of the board I would like to thank Steve for his achievements as CEO of Casual Dining Group. We will be appointing his successor soon and making a further announcement in due course.

‘Steve will be helping us effect a smooth transition as we continue to grow and develop the business in the fast moving and competitive casual dining market.”

Parkdean Resorts was formed in November 2015 following the merger of Parkdean Holidays and Park Resorts. Today, it owns and operate 67 holiday parks across England, Scotland and Wales as the UK’s largest holiday park operator.
