Dandelyan to collaborate with renowned Mexican bar for Halloween

Dandelyan, recently awarded World’s Best Cocktail Bar, has announced a Halloween collaboration with Mexico’s Licoreria Limantour, running from 27-31 October.

Marking the start of Dandelyan’s ‘World Botany Series’, and following in the steps of The Broken Shaker’s 4 July visit, the partnership will continue to explore Dandelyan’s pursuit in the world of flavour, flora, and fauna in their drinks with the help of world class bars and their pioneering teams from around the globe.

This Halloween, Mexico City’s Licoreria Limantour, ranked 13 in The World’s Best Bars 2017, will be travelling to Dandelyan, and providing two of their top bartenders for the occasion; the bar manager, Jose Luis Leon Martinez, and Benjamin Padron Novoa, who will be bringing their laid-back Latin vibes and unusual South American ingredients to London’s South Bank.

Dandelyan’s multi-sensory menu will comprise of 5 cocktails designed collaboratively with the Limantour team. Sponsored by Pernod Ricard and utilising Beefeater Garden Gin, the new Halloween menu will play with the ideas of preservation, zombification, and cheating death, whilst celebrating the flavours of Mexico with ingredients such as dried herbs, chilli and wood. Inspired by the preservation at play in drinks, the cocktails will extend the life of botanicals beyond nature’s intentions.

Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr Lyan) commented, ‘I am delighted to be playing host to Licoreria Limantour at Dandelyan this Halloween, as not only are they one of my favourite South American bars but I am very excited to embrace Mexican culture and flavours in the menu. This collaboration will create a series of drinks that will bring to life both Dandelyan and Limantour’s ethos as well as a series of explorations into ‘death-defying’ drinks that are fitting of All Hallow’s Eve’.

The menu can be sampled via a 30-minute tasting experience and will include a personally guided tour through the cocktails by both teams before being gifted a specially created Halloween treat.

Dandelyan’s ‘Death Defying Drinks’ in collaboration with Limantour will be available at Dandelyan, Mondrian London, from 27-31 October.
