Deliveroo to meet demand with 200 new riders in Wales by Caterlyst | Caterlyst - https://www.caterlyst.com/
Online food delivery service, Deliveroo is recruiting across Wales for 200 new riders in Cardiff, Newport and Aberystwyth.
Deliveroo in Wales has seen a 346% growth rate in orders in the past year, and is working with nearly 200 restaurants across the country. The company claims restaurants who use Deliveroo see revenues boosted by up to 30%.
The company will also potentially be opening one of its Editions – also known as Dark Kitchens – in Wales in 2018, designed to only supply the takeaway market, without having a restaurant attached,
Dan Warne, Deliveroo’s UK Managing Director, commented, ‘Deliveroo’s rapid growth in Wales means customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue and riders have opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.
‘Deliveroo’s fundraising will mean greater growth and new innovations. More restaurants will be able to deliver their food direct to people’s homes or offices and there will be more work available for people who want to be riders and fit their work around their life rather than trying to fit life around their work.
‘Now, right across Wales we are looking for more riders to join us as we grow, so we can deliver even more amazing food to our brilliant Welsh customers.’
