Four-storey gin palace & eatery opens next week on Portobello Road

A four-storey gin palace and restaurant, The Distillery is to open on 16 December on Portobello Road, London W11.

The venue features two bars, a private dining room, and bedrooms, as well as a distillery, a museum, and an off-license shop.

There will also a gin-making experience lead by ‘ginstructors’ at the in-house Ginstitute.

Visitors will be invited to start out in The Resting Room, where they’ll be able to sample unique gin blends. Beyond gin, there will be other spirits like avocado and olive oil vodka, with many served straight from the barrel.

A Spanish-themed bar, GinTonica will serve G&Ts with a range of seasoning and extra flavours, including juniper, cold brew coffee, lavender, dehydrated lemon and cocoa nibs.

There will be a menu of British cuisine, with small plates, along with a charred and roast section.
