Greggs expands Deliveroo trial

Following the success of a recent trial in Birmingham, Greggs has launched a new delivery service trial with Britain’s favourite food delivery service, Deliveroo, in London, Bristol and Newcastle.

The new service, available from three Greggs’ shops, is now live and available exclusively through the Deliveroo app and website.

The Greggs menu on Deliveroo will feature a selection of popular menu items including: breakfast, freshly ground coffee, savouries and sausage rolls, freshly-prepared sandwiches, salads and sweet treats along with various meal deal options.

Roger Whiteside, Chief Executive at Greggs, said: ‘When it comes to food-on-the-go, our customers tell us that convenience is key. We’ve been working hard to make Greggs available to our customers when and where they want it, whether that be in offices, industrial estates, retail parks, travel hubs and at home.

‘We’ve been working on our delivery services over the past year and we’re excited to launch a Deliveroo trial for our customers in London, Newcastle and Bristol. This will enable customers to enjoy our great tasting, good value food wherever they are, offering them the ultimate convenience.’

Greggs’ shops available for Deliveroo delivery include three in London, E1 WC2 and SW1, two in Bristol and two in Newcastle.
