Habit Burger Grill to launch in UK through Pegasus franchise

US-based Habit Restaurants is to launch its Habit Burger Grill concept in the UK through an exclusive franchise agreement with Pegasus Foods.

The first two Habit Burger Grill outlets will be opening in the suburbs of London in 2018, before the brand is rolled out across the UK.

Pegasus Foods is planning to open 30 Habit Burger Grill sites within the first five years of trading.

The first Habit opened in Santa Barbara, California in 1969. The Habit has since grown to over 195 restaurants in 11 states. The brand specialises in preparing fresh, made-to-order chargrilled burgers and sandwiches featuring USDA choice tri-tip steak, grilled chicken and sushi-grade albacore tuna cooked over an open flame. In addition, it features fresh made-to-order salads and an appealing selection of sides, shakes and malts.
