L’Autre Pied to close after 10 years

Chef's Office, Create, Inspire, Connect

After a decade in business, L’Autre Pied in London’s Marylebone will be closing its doors on 9 September.

The sister restaurant of highly acclaimed Pied à Terre opened in 2007 and was awarded a Michelin star in 2009.

The restaurant is closing to allow co-owners Marcus Eaves, Shane Osborn and David Moore to pursue other opportunities, including potentially creating a restaurant space in the basement next door to Pied à Terre.

Eaves will also consult on Noizé, the French restaurant Mathieu Germond, former co-owner and restaurant manager of Pied á Terre, is opening at the former Dabbous site in London Fitzrovia.

Moore stated, “The reason we’re closing is we’ve had an amazing opportunity to do other things. Having had 10 years in Marylebone we’re looking at other opportunities. L’Autre Pied is going to cease to exist, we’re going to move forward, but we’ve got some ideas for Pied a Terre.”
