Situated on the Wirral’s coastline, the 16th century Leasowe Castle hotel has revealed the results of its £3m refurbishment and rebrand.

The in-house restaurant Brasserie 1593 (pictured) and Knights Cocktail Bar have received a new look, and the site’s 47 bedrooms have seen a transformation,

The new branding embodies the oystercatcher to set the tone of our enchanting nature rich, tranquil seafront setting.

Since the castle was acquired by Bupa Gandhi in May 2015, it has undergone a number of cosmetic changes.

The historic venue has also welcomed a new general manager as part of the venue’s ongoing transformation. With more than 40 years in the hospitality sector, Mike Dewey has joined the team following a notable nine-year stint at Liverpool’s exclusive Hard Days Night Hotel.
