Miller & Carter to open first restaurant in Sunderland

Mitchells and Butlers-owned Miller & Carter is set to open its first restaurant in Sunderland.

The chain will open in the former Miller’s Inn in Newcastle Road, Fulwell. The pub has had a extensive refurbishment since it closed down in May.

Miller & Carter’s Regional Business Manager Tim Ellis, said, “Bringing Miller & Carter to Sunderland is a fantastic opportunity for the brand and we look forward to providing the best steaks and service that Miller & Carter is renowned for across the UK.”

The new steakhouse which has already created 30 new jobs, is set to open on Friday 23rd June.
