Punch announces change of delivery service provider

Pub giant and brewery group, Punch Taverns has announced a new delivery partner, which will take over from Carlsberg this autumn.

Punch secured arrangements that could facilitate the separation of the pubs that will transfer to Heineken when the sale of Punch is finalised. As such, Punch has secured suppliers for the pubs that will transfer to Heineken, and the pubs that will be retained in Punch.

For the pubs that will transfer to Heineken, delivery services for the Punch range of products will be provided by KNDL (Kuehne + Nagel Drinks Logistics), which is the incumbent distributor for Heineken’s Star Pubs and Bars business.

Punch has also confirmed that the distribution arm of Marston’s plc will provide the delivery services for the Punch range of products for the retained Punch Pubs.

Both these new partners have an excellent track record of the specialist distribution of drink products to pubs across the UK, and Punch looks forward to planning the detailed transition arrangements with them for each and every pub over the coming months.
