A substantial project, which is transforming a 35-year independently-run forecourt, is set to be completed by the beginning of of March.
The site in Bordon, Hampshire belongs to long time Nisa partners The Garner Group and is one of three forecourts operated by the third-generation family business.
The petrol station and forecourt, which were originally built in 1984, has been demolished and a brand-new modern forecourt, boasting an impressive 2,000 sq ft Nisa store, is replacing it.
Key features in the new retail space include a full convenience store offer, two Costa Express machines, COOK freezers, a Country Choice food-to-go station, fresh sandwiches, an Amazon locker, CollectPlus and PayPoint integrated functions.
Andy Garner, who runs the business alongside uncle Mike, father Tim and cousin Dani, said, “Our family business has been operating since 1959 and has evolved greatly through the generations. We’re delighted to be reopening Woolmer Service Station as ‘Garner’s Nisa’ 35 years after the original site was constructed.
‘The regeneration of Whitehill and Bordon is a fantastic opportunity for our family business to proudly continue serving and supporting the increasing population.”
The development is running to schedule and the family is confident the new forecourt will be open and trading next month.
