Vegetarian Sloppy Joe

In honour of National Vegetarian Week (15-21 May 2017). We have been given the vegetarian sloppy joe recipe by Bidfood UK. This vegetarian sloppy joe includes the ingredients including three bean chilli, lettuce and tomato and much more. you can also add ingredients Such as cucumber, gherkins and much more!!!!!


  • 200 ml Mayonnaise
  • 10 Giotto Quinoa Burger Bun
  • 2 Cos Lettuce
  • 2 Beef tomato
  • 10 Butternet, Goats' Cheese & Beet Burger
  • 400 g Three Bean Chilli
  • 200 g Quinoa & Vegetable Mix


  1. Collate all your ingredients
  2. Deep Fry the burger until fully cooked and keep warm
  3. Warm through the quinoa & bean chilli in a pan and keep warm.
  4. Slice your tomatoes & slice the cos lettuce- keep chilled until required.
  5. To build your burger toast the bun and keep warm
  6. Top the bottom bun with the mayonnaise
  7. Layer the lettuce and tomato next
  8. Top with the burger and then warm quinoa mix
  9. Finish with the top part of the bun and serve
