Vegware recognised on environmental leadership including Rising Star award

Last week was another great week for Vegware at awards ceremonies; winning the Best Sustainability Initiative Award and Eilidh Brunton, Vegware’s group recycling consultant, being awarded the Rising Star at the FPA Awards.

Vegware’s Close the Loop collection service won the Best Sustainability Initiative Award at this year’s Hotelympia FoodBev Awards. The annual awards, organised by FoodBev Media and held in association with Hotelympia, celebrate all that is good about innovation in the global food industry.

Vegware’s award-winning service collects clients’ used Vegware and food waste for commercial composting, creating high-grade compost in a matter of weeks. After the success of Close the Loop in Scotland, they’re planning to launch the service in regions of England in 2018.

Following this, Vegware’s very own group recycling consultant Eilidh Brunton collected the Rising Star award at the FPA awards. Awarded for her integral environmental work with Vegware and continued engagement with the waste sector, Eilidh picked up the award at the Grand Hotel Brighton.

These awards follow last week’s success where Vegware was ranked in both The Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100and the 2018 Inc. 5000 Europe lists.
